For the love Tamarama

Woke up to the news of our friends Lela and Perry’s baby being born, a gorgeous little girl. Lots of babies happening around us, which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

We are off to our next destination today and hoping to leave the rain behind given it was pouring rain all night and still going this morning. We follow the scenic route to Sydney and stopped at Berry an attractive, artistic village with heritage listed buildings and the famous  Goldfish toy shop. The donut van is obviously a real winner with the line 40 deep; we join it to devour the most amazing cinnamon dounts ever. Is there anything better than hot, fresh donuts?

It is a single lane drive through the hills, I swear we are back in Ireland driving through the rolling fog tipped hills with lush green grass, cows graving and of course plenty of rain.

As we near Tamarama the sun is out shining and the weather a delicious 20 degrees. Our fingers are crossed this holds out for us. Arriving at our Airbnb stay at the bottom of Birrell Street in Tamarama, we follow 59 steps down hill to land at our beautiful abode.

Once we unload we take the famous coastal walking track from Tamarama to Bondi and stop for a late lunch at the popular North Bondi Fish. As we walk off our meal with a stroll around Bondi, we get caught out in the rain with the dog but a legendary cabby allows her to take a seat too.

We stop home for another low key night in to escape the rain.. x
