For the love of Chiswick

Rise and shine sunshine it’s a great day for a walk from Tamarama to Bronte, given the warmth of the day we couldn’t resist a dip in the Bronte Baths.

It was then struggle town as we walked the back streets and up winding hills stopping at 3 blue ducks in Bronte for coffee and fresh juice.

The best thing about walking uphill is that what goes up must go down so we had the pleasure of a down hill stroll back to Tamarama, this was much less taking on the energy levels.

We doll up for lunch at Chiswick by Matt Moran. Excited to try his famous roast lamb with all the produce including the meat from his family’s farm. We also indulge on prawn popcorn, garlic bread, beans and hand cut chips and finish it off with complimentary homemade raspberry marshmallow. It was such a divine meal. Before leaving we take in the breath taking gardens of Chiswick.

As we landed back in Bondi, we went for a walk and fluffed around by the beach. As dusk hit us, we were able to see all the mansions lit up with their blinds open, who doesn’t love a good sticky inside a mansion? I particularly love the old Victorian style homes with all white everything.

Back to our abode for the final night we pack up the house. Remember those 59 steps we walked down to get to the house? We have to walk back up them to get to the car…with all of our belongings. Late night sweat session.. x
