For the love of…

Palazzo Versace is a stunning baroque style hotel with quality architecture and elaborate Versace finishing’s. Upon entering the marble foyer your breath will be taken away by the massive chandelier and bespoke furnishings.

In celebration of our one-year wedding anniversary, we treated ourselves to three nights at this luxury accommodation. It was the final stop of a two-week road trip south from Noosa. I had memories of a delectable cuisine from a Christmas lunch a couple of year’s prior but longed to stay and enjoy the ambience of this hotel.

Palazzo Versace boasts a European influence and there is little this fashion brand hotel doesn’t offer. The neoclassical styled rooms – which are true to Versace style – are adorned with lavish fabrics and floor to ceiling windows.

There are many things I admired about this hotel including the high tea and fresh seafood buffet. What I found most enjoyable was the spectacular atrium that allowed for hours of people watching, sips on the latest cocktails or a pot of tea are mandated in this open and light filled space.

Although no direct access to the beach, there is a private marina and huge pool area to allow for secluded hangs and your own water space.

The Palazzo Versace hotel is fit for a King or Queen wanting a romantic getaway. If the charm of this hotel is good enough for Beyonce and Jay Z – then well, it’s good enough for you and me.. x
