Refund policy
Refunds
Refunds are strictly not offered on change of mind purchases. Should you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us within two days of your order being placed or received to discuss your options. Please note all items and orders are carefully inspected for quality control prior to postage. All refund decisions will be made at the discretion of ownsit! in line with Consumer Affairs Victoria and the ACCC policies. Should a refund be provided, please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund and for it to show in your account. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please follow up with us at hello@ownsit.com.au.
Exchanges
Not quite the right fit or what you expected? ownsit! does offer exchanges but please refer to our detailed size guide and get in contact if you have any further size questions, we are more than happy to assist you with sizing.
Still not happy with your size? Should you require an exchange please contact hello@ownsit.com.au within two days of receiving your order. The exchange will be processed once the original purchased item is returned, at the buyers expense, in its original and re-sellable condition within seven business days. If the exchange is for a handmade or pre-ordered product, the correct size will need be remade or reordered, pre-order turnaround times may apply. Original postage costs will not be refunded and the buyer is also required to provide a postage paid satchel for the correct size garment to be returned.
Order cancellation
You are welcome to cancel an order provided production has not commenced or item has not been shipped. Should you chose to do this a credit note will be applied to your order. The credit note is valid for purchase of any other store product. If the initial purchase was during a sale period, the discount will not apply to any future purchase unless the sale period is still current. If new items purchased are on sale you are welcome to the discount during the sale period. If offered a discount code outside of sale periods these items are to be processed in a new transaction, not via the credit note.
Faulty products
Got a faulty garment? Please contact us at hello@ownsit.com.au within two days of receiving your item with specific details and images of the fault. In the unlikely event that an item is deemed faulty, the purchaser will be provided with a store credit excluding postage costs. It is the discretion of ownsit! whether an item is deemed faulty and the faulty garment MUST be returned to ownsit! prior to store credit being supplied. The purchaser is expected to return the faulty item to ownsit! at your own expense.
Exceptions/non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on sale items, gift cards and ready to ship jackets.
